Cajun/Creole Restaurants in New York
Cajun and creole dishes are often found in many restaurants, though few eating establishments exist that serve Cajun-creole cuisine exclusively. New York Cajun-creole restaurants serve food that is primarily made with spices such as black pepper, cayenne, garlic, and thyme. Many restaurants also serve exotic dishes that include dove, quail, blue crab, and even alligator. Jambalaya is, of course, the standard Cajun-creole dish served at most non-cajun restaurants.
