ZZZ's

ZZZ's is post punk/no wave/noise trio from JAPAN. They formed in the end of 2011 and performed the 1st show immediately after several times of sessions.
In 2012, they had twice long tours in whole US for SXSW2012, CMJ2012 and Miami Art Basel and etc. New York was basic place with their activity.
In a beginning of 2012, they had had only a few performances yet and were an unknown band in Japan. Then, they went to NY for getting many inspirations. Life in New York was severe for them. But they could obtain about 80 performances by themselves in a half of a year. In Miami art basel 2012, they encountered Thurston Moore(from Sonic Youth) accidentally on the street in Miami. And he set ZZZ's as the opening act of his secret show at that night.
Later he chose ZZZ's as the first of “his favorite 2012” on the website of Matador Records and he wrote an article there.
As well, ZZZ's performed at CMJ 2012 in NY as the only official performer from Japan, their performance was also written to the article of "New York Times" and "Japan Times". For a half of year, many reviews of their performances appeared in many magazines and websites in US.

They released New EP recorded in New York by "Jonathan Kreinick" of an engineer of "The Rapture",”!!!”,”Holy Ghost” “Le Tigre”, etc.., in February 2013. You can buy this in Bandcamp, itunes, AMAZON too.
In autumn of 2013, they had the 1st long tour in whole Europe including some festivals;
-Sonic city 2013(curated by Beak>) with Savages, The Black Angels, ADULT, etc, in Kortrijk BE
-Le Guess who?festival 2013 in Utrecht NE
-Sounds From The Other City in Salford,UK
-Villa Manuela Festival 2014 in Spain
-Pop Revo Festival 2014 in Arhus,Denmark.

They also performed Lobo Jam Festival 2014 in Taipei,Taiwan.
They play with some foreign bands (-Savages,No Age,Bo Ningen and more) as support act in Japan.

They will performed Austin Psyche Festival 2015 in May.
Then they would be back to US.
