The phrase ‘Zara Aina' is a Malagasy saying that means share life. Broadway actors Lucas Caleb Rooney (Henry IV and The Country Girl) and Bryce Pinkham (Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder and Ghost) founded Zara Aina in an effort to create a cultural exchange with underdeveloped Malagasy communities with a focus on helping at-risk children expand their capacity for achievement in education and personal growth through theatrical performance and storytelling.
