"Winter's Light"

New York Repertory Singers & Chamber Orchestra Perform "Winter's Light"

Exploring themes of light and darkness, and hope and longing, "Winter's Light" is a festive debut performance by the New York Repertory Singers, led by composer Michael John Trotta. The evening will feature the world premiere of Trotta's song cycle, with two dancers, a soprano and baritone soloist, the chamber orchestra and the 16-voice singers bringing this piece to vivid life. In addition, the singers will perform a cappella arrangements of popular holiday favorites like "All is Calm," "In the Bleak Midwinter" and "Adam Lay Ybounden."
