Winstons

Winstons is a Garage-Soul duo from Virginia, based in Brooklyn, that is steeped in the traditions of American roots music and the legacy of rock n' roll. Raw, danceable tunes riff on love and lifestyle in a way that is relatable and uplifting on a human, and often primal, level. The band's dynamic juxtaposition owes as much to Iggy Pop & The Stooges as it does Otis Redding. Winstons' live performance is delivered with earnestness and often tumbles into unrestrained improvisations. They released their debut EP "Turpentine" in January 2015. Summer holds in store a regional tour, and the Fall, a debut full-length.
