The Williamsburg Salsa Orchestra is a stunning 11-piece Latin band that plays dynamic arrangements of the indie rock tunes you love. Taking the art of salsa to new places while remaining within the genre's classic, deeply funky tradition, the ensemble performs songs by Arcade Fire, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, TV on The Radio, Santigold, Animal Collective and more. Led by percussionist/arranger Gianni Mano, (from the Latin-funk legends Radio Mundial), the Williamsburg Salsa Orchestra contains some of the best young players on the scene who are redefining salsa for a new generation and resetting the boundaries of the art form.
