"Wicked Beginnings": Composer Stephen Schwartz Performs With His Friends

Famed Broadway composer-lyricist Stephen Schwartz is joined on stage by Debbie Gravitte, Scout Coulter and Kelli Rabke as they perform songs from his greatest hits. This retrospective at the Queensborough Performing Arts Center, dubbed "Wicked Beginnings", goes all the way back to Schwartz's '70s-era breakthrough with "Godspell" and "Pippin", includes songs from mid-career productions like "The Baker's Wife" and "Children of Eden", and of course, features greats from his blockbuster hit "Wicked". A six-time Tony nominee who's also won a trio each of Grammys and Oscars, Schwartz's amazing output also includes signature tunes from several movies, like "The Prince of Egypt", "Enchanted" and "Pocahontas", which will also be performed.
