About "Who's Your Baghdaddy? Or How I Started the Iraq War"

Musical Comedy "Who's Your Baghdaddy? Or How I Started the Iraq War"

Prissy pundits, bickering bureaucrats and a dissolute defector all play supporting roles in this boisterous, irreverent new musical comedy that features singing and dancing CIA agents telling the "true" story of how the United States started the Iraq War. The story follows three main characters -- an amalgam of people real and fictional -- from 2001 to 2003. Richart, an ambitious German junior secret agent, catches a prize defector who will become the CIA source on WMD. Nelson, a CIA analyst at Langley, can't get anyone to see the flaws in the story. Journalist David Kay declared mistakenly on NBC that mobile germ labs had been found in Iraq, and is rewarded with a special assignment from George Tenet himself. This is the story behind the story, the one you never really heard, told with humor, music and good old-fashioned show biz panache. Come see the play the "New York Times" called "an important, cunning, rock-solid musical comedy" at the Actors Temple Theatre in New York.
