World Civic Orchestra at Lincoln Center for its 5th Anniversary

Made up of both professional and amateur musicians from around the globe, The World Civic Orchestra celebrates its fifth anniversary of connecting cultures through music with a blockbuster concert of Brahms, Dvorak and more, titled "Gray Pearl in the Sea of Tears". Principal cellist HaiYe Ni of the Philadelphia Orchestra joins the WCO on the hallowed stage at Lincoln Center for Dvorak's Cello Concerto. The composer's popular, folk music-inspired Slavonic Dance No. 2 is also on the program, along with Brahms' Third Symphony and Hungarian Dance No. 5, as well as "Impressions of Manhattan" by contemporary composer Kevin Clark.
