Washer is a two piece rock band


Laughing Fingers is a Brooklyn-based collaborative effort between guitarist/vocalist Chris Chagnon and drummer Ian Taggart. The project emerged out of whispery bedroom recordings and has taken on a much louder, full-band sound, influenced by Red House Painters, early Modest Mouse, and Pedro the Lion, amongst others.

The band is set to release its debut "Haller Meets the Machine" this spring. The EP was recorded with Carlos Hernandez and Julian Fader at Gravesend Recordings in the Silent Barn. It has been referred to as "a boozy blend of languid vocals and heavy builds" (Jess Goulart, BreakThru Radio).
