Violent Video

Violent Video is a Brooklyn post punk/shoegaze trio. Balancing melodic as well as noisy guitar work, sing-speak vocals and a pulsing rhythm section Violent Video draws alot of energy in to their live performances and recordings. With a five song EP released on 12" vinyl from Subsuburban Records (Copenhagen) and a recent tour of Germany and Scandanavia, Violent Video is now playing shows stateside and preparing for their next record. Common comparisons are Wire, Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine and New Order. This band isn't living in the past, mind you, but looking forward and trying to discover new sounds.
