Unify For Change

The idea for ARCHETYPE began back in april of 2009. Myself and a few other musicians began working together on tracks that would build from scratch. It was normal to be in the lab(bogarted from my roomates at the time)for 8 hours a day or more using cracked audio software, with a radio shack audio cord, one mic and an old MD4 mini disk 4 track recorder. No money for recording equipment started to become more and more of an issue as we came closer to the final stages. Unfortunately the audio was recorded in such a manner that it was impossible to improve the quality. On the ARCHETYPE mix tape vol 1 you'll hear a multitude of mic buzzes, computer noise, distortion, and over all loudness problems - but not with lack of inspiration. As raw as it is, is as raw as you get it. Mad love to all who appreciate good home grown organic music. Look out for the next one coming in 2010.
