About Unicycle Loves You, Dear Comrade, Noba

In the words of SPIN Magazine: "Unicycle Loves You sounds like a mix-tape of indie rock's best eras, from reverb-drenched Cure guitar lines to New Pornographers-esque boy-girl harmonies. Recommended if you like New Pornographers & Guided by Voices" - and NY Press: "Forget Vampire Weekend, Unicycle Loves You just released the best poppy indie rock album of the year, and probably the best debut album of the year."

Dear Comrade's diverse sound is a reflection of the musical histories and influences of it's contributors. The music, unbound by genre, often varies in mood and texture, but is always earnest and thought provoking.

Based in Brooklyn, Dear Comrade was founded in 2009 by singer-songwriter Arthur Kremer, formerly of the indie-rock band Stellastarr* (RCA/SONY/BMG), with guitarist Emmett Aiello and singer Stephanie Pekin. In 2011, with the help of Dennis Lehrer on drums and bassist Tim Jansen on bass, the band recorded and released it's debut album "All Wisdom is Gone". Since then Dear Comrade has played regularly in New York City, with bass player Phil Zuckerman and vocalist Mack Dobbins. In 2013 Dear Comrade released it's sophomore effort entitled "Here You Are". Joined by drummer Teo Vanovski in late 2014, Dear Comrade is hard at work on their 3rd album as well as playing shows around New York City.
