Boundary-Pushing Theater: The "UNFringed" Festival

From surrealism to absurdism to whateverism, the "UNFringed" Festival comes to New York's The Secret Theatre with a new batch of unhinged, unabashed and unbelievable plays. Gathering a wide-range of artists, "UNFringed" unleashes daring new works that further push the boundaries of art and theater. This year's event showcases a new take on "Waiting for Godot" with "cute boys in their underpants," an anti-PC variety show called "Intolerant Vaudeville" and a work in which award-winning writer-entertainer Andrew Martin knits a wool hat live on stage (which is then raffled off to an audience member) while he recounts his eventful life and love for needlework.
