"Un Especial A Las Madres" With "El Jibaro" Andres Jimenez

Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Andrés "El Jíbaro" Jiménez leads a special concert in celebration of mothers everywhere at the Lehman Center for the Performing Arts in the Bronx. Jiménez is known for his championing of "música jíbara", a type of Puerto Rican folk music that he has brought to the world. Celebrated on his home island, he has also achieved recognition in the States, and his album "Mi Parranda" appeared on "Billboard's" Top Latin Albums chart. Also performing will be the young voice of La Trova, Eduardo Villanueva, plus special guest Yesenia Cruz.
