For Alejandro Berti, a lifelong passion for music was virtually inescapable. Berti comes from four generations of music on his father's side, and his mother was classically training him on the violin before he could even speak in complete sentences. But it was the trumpet that would become young Alejandro's greatest muse, launching him on a sonic odyssey through New York City in genres as diverse as symphonic rock, funk, salsa, ska and jazz. Born in Caracas, Venezuela, the preternaturally talented rising star now brings his warm sound and effortless improvisational style to Subrosa's Venezuela-centric Guataca Nights.
