About Trophy Wives
With a fresh new attitude and a drive to make great music for their audience, TROPHY WIVES are a unique blend of fast paced, dynamic rock music with catchy choruses and punchy bridges. Hailing from Providence, RI, Trophy Wives draws roots both live and in the studio from Four Year Strong's high-energy and All Time Low's constantly flowing melody and harmony arrangements.
"We like to write passion-fueled music that always keeps a card or two up our sleeve," says vocalist/guitarist Chris Piquette. The band self produced their first two records out of their headquarters, No Boundaries Studios. Their first EP, Letting Go, released in August of 2012 to a sold out Fete Music in Providence. Their second highly anticipated release, One Way Trip To Mars, debuted in July of 2013. "This EP is the development of the sound we hold so close to our roots," says bassist Travis Danforth. It also made way for their first music video, directed by Brandon Cawood of Flash Light Productions.
Trophy Wives has shared the stage almost a hundred times in their first two years with such acts as Sum 41, Yellowcard, Alan Day, A Skylit Drive, I See Stars, The Acacia Strain, Like Moths To Flames, Chunk!, Our Last Night, Hands Like Houses, Beartooth, Hit The Lights, Vanna, and more. Trophy Wives was also voted onto the 2014 Vans Warped Tour Boston date via the annual Ernie Ball contest, and was chosen as one of four finalists for the national battle in Los Angeles.
With the force of new music and a growing fan-base, Trophy Wives set their sights ahead on a journey of friends, fans, and pursuit of dreams of spreading their unique attitude and adrenaline filled anthems throughout the world.
