Torreblanca & Masa: Latin Alt Pop-Rock

Experience the latest in alternative Latin pop-rock when a pair of the genre's finest team up for a night of music at Subrosa in the happening Meatpacking District. Torreblanca is an indie group out of Mexico, who identify their sound as post pop. Named after their singer-pianist frontman, they're currently on their "El Povo En La Luz" tour, which is also taking them to the Pan Am Games in Toronto. Also set to appear are the cutting-edge duo known as Mesa, which teams Argentine musician Didi Gutman of Brazilian Girls with Venezuelan producer Hector Castillo, who's worked with David Bowie, Lou Reed, Roger Waters, Bjork and Philip Glass, among others.
