Tommy Scala was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey. His Italian heritage grounds him in the Italian-American culture that he is proud to be a part of. Growing up with the sounds of Sinatra, Como, Martin and later Elvis Presley, Tommy’s sound is very much a throwback to a time when great voices were on every stage AND on everyone's stereo!
The videos attached show the versatility of Tommy’s amazingly powerful and beautiful voice. One critic described his voice as "Intensely powerful with beautiful tone and soul!” Another said he "Possesses the smoothness of Como with the power of an Opera singer!” Tommy’s life experiences have given his voice the emotional depth and passion that shines through with every note!

Scala has performed with The Chiffons, The Marvelettes, Larry Chance and The Earls, Johnny Maestro, Star Search Champion Vickie Natale, and at the N.J. Pac with Connie Francis in Newark, New Jersey.
