About "Theorem"

Juggling Reinvented in Family-Friendly Version of Greg Kennedy's Innovative "Theorem"

If you thought juggling was just a nifty trick, there'll be no doubt that it can be raised to an art form after you see Greg Kennedy perform his latest show, "Theorem". Although Kennedy is a two-time international juggling champion, "juggling" doesn't really begin to describe what this inventive performer does. Challenging audiences to see the world with the wonder of a child at play, Kennedy and his troupe of circus artists playfully explore the possibilities of object manipulation, creating breathtaking images using five-person choreography, aerial acrobatics and Kennedy's large dynamic structures, all set to live music. Kennedy draws on his engineering background to craft innovative, manipulable structures that he turns into visual spectacle, which you can see in action when the family-friendly, hourlong version of "Theorem" comes to the Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts at Pace University. Halloween costumes encouraged!
