About The Yardbirds

English Rockers The Yardbirds ("For Your Love")

Founded in 1963, the original incarnation of The Yardbirds helped launch the careers of guitar legends Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page, and produced such hits as "For Your Love" and "Heart Full of Soul." Their 1968 split led to the formation of what would become Led Zeppelin. Original members Jim McCarty and Chris Dreja brought the band back together in 2003, and the latest lineup features McCarty, renowned guitarist Johnny A (Peter Wolf, Bobby Whitlock), bassist Kenny Aaronson (Bob Dylan, Billy Idol), singer/blues harpist/percussionist Myke Scavone (Ram Jam & Doughboys), and guitarist/singer John Idan. Hear these British rockers prove that they haven't dropped a note since the '60s when they take the stage at New York City's Highline Ballroom.
