THE VIOLENCEis Gia Jordan raised in the southern eastcoast of America as a child gia learned the trumpet which is lucky for all good fighters because with out it she could not commit Death by trumpet on those who need/deserve it (read she can and will kick your ass) THE VIOLENCE was breed in NYC, a dirty and unjust city like many cities in America and truthfully the world.when Gia began performing as THE VIOLENCE in late 2007 after hitting the NYC music circuit as only gia jordan. Playing her guitar, trumpet, flute and performing her all original songs, the migration to the THE VIOLENCE was swift and full of vigor THE VIOLENCE is everyday and everything which is best interpreted as it's decidedly all inclusive and ONLY excludes those that treat people poorly and unfairly.
The music of THE VIOLENCE is often angry,loud,abrasive,original and honest,sometimes it's sweet and less jagged to digest but always full of energy.
The live shows are full of in your face fuck u establishment riot force. Gia writes all of the songs which makes sense seeing as how she also sings them. Currently working on the first full length album I


Grady Owens was born in Madison, Wisconsin. Grew up around Milwaukee, WI. Attended college at the Rhode Island School of Design. Ex-member of bands Aurore Rien, Black Masks For Secrecy. Currently, Owens lives in the NYC area.
