About The Unattended, GIFTSHOP, Eddie Nebula & the Plague

Influenced by everyday life, and a wide variety of music from Black sabbath to The clash, The Unattended have settled into their own. Pulling influences from a time when auto-tune and quantize were non-existent, The Unattended play it tight and loud. Always touching on all influences, nothing forgotten, nothing left out. They play it how it should be played, taking time to finish each song as a piece all its own, and perform them to perfection. With this line up and material, The Unattended will be listened to as we listened to others with admiration and respect.

GIFTSHOP formed in 2007 when NYC indie trio The Hi Scores joined Meghan Taylor, vocalist for Rochester, NY bands Bee Eater and White Cotton Panties. The band draws on broad influences ranging from BIG 80's to PUNK, channeling a sound that’s familiar yet fresh. Championing CGBG’s style pop from the streets of New York City, GIFTSHOP's hi-energy stage shows have earned them a dedicated following at the best live music venues.

The band’s second EP, TOURIST TRAP, featuring the Punk-Ska energy of LEFT/RIGHT and the haunting Gen X anthem PARKING LOT ASTRONAUT, showcases GIFTSHOP at its best with Meghan Taylor’s husky vocal purr leading the way.
