Part of the Harlem Eatup! Festival, "The Stroll" raises a toast to the art, the style and, of course, the food of Harlem. At The Experience of The Stroll, under tents in New York's Morningside Park, renowned Harlem chefs like Marcus Samuelsson, JJ Johnson (The Cecil) and Charles Gabriel (Charles' Fried Chicken) will tempt you with their signature bites and a selection of wines, beers and spirited drinks. You can also watch national culinary artists showcase their skills with exciting cooking demonstrations, or cheer for your favorite chef in the Harlem Cook-Off. Your ticket gets you access to the tasting tents, demos and food carts. When you're not busy tasting, or taking notes on Ludo Lefebvre's techniques and Scott Conant's tips, there's a free, open marketplace you can peruse. There, you'll find artisanal treats and specialty foods to buy and take home (or enjoy on the spot).
