About The Shacks, Lily McQueen, Naked Heroes, DJ Black Helmet, Laura Marin, W. Andrew Raposo

The Shacks are currently finishing their debut album with producer Leon Michels of Truth and Soul Records. Their musical influences include Jacques Dutronc, Os Mutantes and Joni Mitchell

Lily McQueen is a born-and-bred Brooklyn musician. She began her career at Bard College where she played in an all-female country-folk band. Every Monday night you could find the girls crooning their original ballads and Bonnie Raitt covers at their local bar upstate.
Since leaving the serene surroundings of her Hudson Valley home, Lily returned to Brooklyn where she has spent the last two years writing and recording pop songs in her bedroom. Her music pulls inspiration from 70s female country artists such as Linda Ronstadt while incorporating the pop elements of her 90s youth. Her songs conjure feelings reminiscent of driving home from the beach, teenage break-ups, and the ways in which nostalgia can alter our memory.
Her first EP will be released on Concierge Records Spring 2015.

The Naked Heroes are a duo of soul redeeming shaman who set the room afire with their spirited, red-blooded, call and response based live shows that are best described as a controlled form of chaos. They celebrate a primal connection to a greasy, unhinged humanity that lurks deep inside all of us and yearns to be exercised. Members Merica Lee and George Jackson use Rock 'n' Roll as a springboard and infuse it with elements of R&B, Blues, and Dance music to create their own unique foot-stompin', ass-shakin', soul redeeming elixir.
