About The Satisfactors, Lisa Mychols 3, Cliff Hillis, Stephen Lawrenson, Fireking

Lisa Mychols is a 15-year music industry veteran. Her California sun-soaked releases have appeared on the Rev-Ola/EMI and Wizard-In-Vinyl labels. Her classic holiday release, "Lost Winter's Dream," was produced by members of Wondermints, Brian Wilson's backing band. Lisa's songs are currently published by Cactus Boy Music/BMI.

Lisa is not only a talented vocalist, but proficient in guitar, bass & drums. She's been a key member of several notable West Coast pop groups, including The Masticators (featuring Severo Journacion of The Smithereens and noted actor, Robbie Rist), The Waking Hours and Nushu. She has had the honor of being the opening act for several international superstars, including Rooney and Maroon 5.

Lisa's Vandalay Records debut, Above, Beyond & In Between, recalls an innocent time, when hit songs were three minutes long and purchased on vinyl 45's sold in the music section of the local department store. Catchy singalong choruses are augmented by tasty Rickenbacker 12-string fills and layers of vintage Vox organ.

Cliff Hillis has released his new EP "Song Machine" on August 26th. The new 7-song EP, on the San Francisco-based indie label TallBoy Records, is available on CD, digital, and a 10" blue vinyl edition.

To support the release of "Song Machine," Hillis will be heading out on regional and national tours, with a West Coast swing planned for the Fall. "Song Machine" will also be going for adds at Triple-A and independent radio.

Over the course of his career, Hillis has earned a solid reputation as a highly sought-after multi instrumentalist, singer/songwriter, session and touring musician, and studio whiz. In addition to contributing guitar, bass and keyboards, he has also helmed numerous recording, production and mixing projects for a varied stable of artists. Hillis can also be seen performing with several popular Philadelphia-area bands and artistsincluding Eric Bazilian, Jeffrey Gaines, and the In the Pocket: Essential Songs of Philadelphia project.

The "Song Machine" EP takes its name from the Song Machine email group, which was recently profiled in The New York Times. Founded in 2001 by Austin-based hit singer/songwriter Bob Schneider, participants in the group play a songwriting game which challenges its members – of which Cliff Hillis is one -- to write an original song featuring a specific lyric, within a weekly deadline. Over the years a number of high-profile artists, including Jason Mraz, Patty Griffin and Matt Nathanson, have participated in the Song Machine group. Two of the tracks on "Song Machine," "Hang On To The Moment" and "Goodnight Sunlight," owe their existence to Hillis' participation in that group.

"Song Machine" also features contributions from special guest musicians and co-writers, including: Scot Sax (Wanderlust, Faith Hill co-writer), troubadour Dan Bern, Phil Solem (The Rembrandts), Patrick Berkery (Pernice Brothers, Wesley Stace, Daniellson), and John Lilley (The Hooters).

"Song Machine" marks Hillis' fourth release on TallBoy Records. His previous albums, "Better Living Through Compression," "Dream Good,"and "The Long Now" have garnered praise from USA Today, The Los Angeles Times, Absolute Powerpop, Amplifier, Goldmine and many more. His original songs have been featured in television shows (All My Children, Party of Five, Roswell, Life Unexpected and more) and films (Enough, After Sex, Waking Dreams, Mayor Cupcake). Hillis has also been the recipient ofseveral national songwriting awards and jingle-writing contests.

Hillis and his "Song Machine" EP have already garnered advance praise from notable industry hitmakers:
