The Mystery Lights

The Mystery Lights are an American rock and roll band from Salinas, CA, currently residing in New York City. Heavily influenced by Thee Headcoats, Television, and The Kinks, The Mystery Lights have built a solid following real fast with balls-to-the-walls, hard-hitting 1960's-style garage/psychedelic rock on both coasts - plus Asia.

The origins of The Mystery Lights can be traced to the long-time friendship between lead singer/guitarist Mike Brandon, Bassist Joe Della Mora and guitarist Luis "L.A." Solano, three kids from Salinas who formed the band in their teens over a shared love of good 60's garage rock, 77' punk, and skateboarding.
In 2011, Mike and L.A. moved to New York City and recruited like-minded Alex Amini on bass and Nick Pillot on drums, and have been playing throughout NYC ever since.

The Mystery Lights have played with bands including Thee Oh See's, Dr. Dog, Shannon and the Clams, Marky Ramone, The Strange Boys, Lenny Kaye, Sleepy Sun, The Vibrators, The Growlers, etc. They have toured Asia twice, most recently in October where they played big festivals in Shenzhen and Lijiang.
