The Muppet Vault: Sex and Violence!

There's been a lot of fuss about the new Muppet TV show being inappropriate for kids, or too full of adult content. But while this may be Kermit and the gang's most "mature" effort yet, the fact is the Muppets have always had their grownup moments. With that in mind, the creators of Muppet fan website ToughPigs.com present The Muppet Vault: Sex and Violence! At the risk of making everyone blush, we're out to prove that the Muppets have never been just for kids, all the way back to the early Jim Henson era.

The event will include screenings of classic sketches from The Muppet Show, as well as various specials, variety shows, talk shows, and more, all hand-picked by Muppet geeks. As usual, there will be plenty of audience participation, with sing-alongs, cool giveaways, drink specials and more!

Hardcore geeks and casual fans alike are invited to Union Hall (702 Union Street in Park Slope, Brooklyn) on Sunday, November 22 at 7:30 PM (doors at 7:00), for “The Muppet Vault: Sex and Violence!”  It'll be a good time for all Muppet fans enjoying the new Muppet TV show's contribution to the downfall of civilization! Please note that this is a 21 and over event.

The Muppet Vault is a monthly series presented by the Muppet fan site ToughPigs.com at Union Hall, featuring classic, rare, and unreleased videos from the Muppets, Sesame Street, and the works of Jim Henson.
