About The Mark Stein Project

Vanilla Fudge Frontman Mark Stein at B.B. King's

Long Island's own Vanilla Fudge was one of the most influential rock bands of the '60s. They toured the country with Jimi Hendrix and a young Led Zeppelin, and rocked crowds with the heavy psychedelic sound that inspired a generation of metal stars. And along the way, it was Mark Stein on vocals and keyboard (typically his signature Hammond B-3) who anchored the band on their biggest hits, from their epic Supremes cover "You Keep Me Hangin' On" to "Take Me For a While." Following the 2015 release of Vanilla Fudge's "Spirit of '67" on Cleopatra Records, Stein's been touring in celebration of the band's 50th anniversary and beyond. Don't miss this classic rock icon when he takes the stage at the B.B. King Blues Club in NYC.
