The Madkoi Quartet

"Rhythmic" (Edge Media), the Madkoi Quartet is making waves in NYC and elsewhere for their interpretations of classical and contemporary music. Formed in 2014 by four string musicians at the Manhattan School of Music, they have been honored by the Asian-American Arts Alliance and have been invited to perform for the NYC Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs and the prince of Italy. Their recording credits span many genres.

Madkoi has premiered original works and arrangements by composers from NYC and all around the US, but specializes in their own arrangements of soul, jazz, and pop music of the last 50 years. The Madkoi Quartet is composed of Rose Xiu Yi Kow and Yoonjung Hwang, violins, Jay Julio, viola, and Camille Dietrich, cello.
