The Liaisons

Falling somewhere between the acoustic singer-songwriters and millennial alternative rockers come The Liaisons. Formed in late 2013, The Liaisons are a suburban alternative rock band based in Brooklyn, NY. Inspired by the late 00’s acts such as The Killers and Muse, piano player and lead singer Jordan Ziskin began writing songs while still in high school. In early 2013, Ziskin moved to Brooklyn and started regularly playing on the open mic circuit where he became locally known for his infectious piano melodies and introspective lyrics.

After teaming up with guitarist Ryan Linden and bassist Will Downey, the trio began filling out their sound and formed what would later become the Liaisons. The addition of Jon Sheckler on drums completed the quartet and in the spring of 2014, The Liaisons went into the studio to begin work on their first release. After six long months in the studio, the Liaisons finally debuted the Rendezvous EP on September 13th 2014. You can find The Liaisons playing shows in venues all over Brooklyn and Manhattan as they prepare to take their show on the road.
