Sherma Andrews Honors "The Legendary Lady Singers"

Trinidadian soul singer Sherma Andrews steps onstage at New York's B.B. King Blues Club to pay tribute to her musical idols with "The Legendary Lady Singers". She'll belt out cherished ballads, torch songs and chart-topping hits by Whitney Houston, Donna Summer, Alicia Keys, Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin and a laundry list of other divas. Andrews, a rising star in her own right, began playing the accordion at age four, the church organ by seven and later studied at the Berklee College of Music. The seasoned singer, songwriter and pianist went on to stand in for Houston in concert and has worked with Summer, as well as Branford Marsalis and Britney Spears.
