The Kennedys: A Tale of Two Cities

The Kennedys celebrate the second of their three CD releases marking their 20 years together: Maura's solo album, "Villanelle: The Songs Of Maura Kennedy And B.D. Love" (Varese Sarabande records.)

"A special Kennedys show highlighting new songs that paint lyrical pictures of two great cities; New York and Los Angeles. Pete's upcoming CD "Heart of Gotham" is an original song cycle, with each song a vignette based on experiences he's had in and around the East Village. Maura's recent collaboration with Los Angeles poet B. D. Love is a wide-ranging lyrical tapestry that draws the listener, at certain moments, into a sharpened focus on aspects of life in the natural ecosystem of Southern California.
