James Brown, otherwise known as The Godfather of Soul, Mr. Dynamite, Soul Brother No. 1 and Hardest Working Man in Show Business, tore up the live stage like no one else. But Lloyd Diamond comes pretty close with his seriously funky tribute at New York's B.B. King Blues Club, The James Brown Soul Revue. Diamond sparkles with Brown's energy, soul, sound, spirit -- and signature dance moves -- to live recreations of hits like "Sex Machine," "Hot Pants," "Get on the Good Foot," "The Payback," "Make It Funky" and "Papa's Got a Brand New Bag." Adding to the authenticity will be J.B.'s original bassist, Fred Thomas, who worked with Brown for more than 30 years.
