The HiFi Reading Series w/ Lev AC Rosen, Teri Clarke, Laura McGinley & Cara Murray

In the hopes of giving lesser-known voices a spotlight to read their work, The HiFi Reading series brings you a selection of “undiscovered” writers, curated each month by an established author. This month we're thrilled to have Lev AC Rosen presenting the emerging writers Teri Clarke, Laura McGinley, and Cara Murray.

LEV AC ROSEN is the author of Depth, All Men of Genius, and the forthcoming novels Woundabout and The Memory Wall. He is originally from Lower Manhattan and now lives in even lower Manhattan, right by the water, with his husband and a very tiny cat.

TERI CLARKE is a writer of contemporary and speculative fiction hailing from Jersey City, NJ by way of Brooklyn, NY and Trinidad, West Indies. A 2006 graduate of New Jersey City University's Media Arts and English program, she is currently working on her first epic fantasy novel.

LAURA McGINLEY is a writer living with her husband and eighteen month-old daughter in Brooklyn, where she wakes up absurdly early in the morning to write. She is at work on a novel and a collection of short stories, and she received an MFA from Sarah Lawrence College.

CARA MURRAY refused to play any roles but the king or the bad guy in her childhood Sunday School biblical reenactments, the hybrid evil king being her favorite. Her first job was teaching high school and college students how to be salty hundreds of miles offshore on sailing vessels in both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, for which she was paid in bruises and shooting stars. She is currently working on a science fiction novel with AIs and cyborgs alternately referred to as "Master Command" and "that thing I really should be working on right now."
