About The Ferdy Mayne, Tongues Unknown


The Ferdy Mayne is a Folk Rock/Shoegaze band out of Brooklyn, NY and is the continual vehicle of singer-songwriter Shane O'Malley Firek. Through minimalist americana, pop hooks or the sludge of post-rock, Firek explores an open range through which his songs can shine in all their wild lyrical impulse and pace. After steady gigging about NYC, a core group was formed for the studio and resulted in a debut LP, scheduled for release March of 2016.
