Bio:
Colleen Clark is one of the most respected young jazz musicians and composers of her generation. Her first album, consisting entirely of her original music, Introducing Colleen Clark, was produced by Gordon Stout, a member of Percussive Arts Society's prestigious Hall of Fame, and engineered by ten-time Grammy Award nominee/winner, Brian Dozoretz. The album was chosen by Dan Ouellette of ZealNYC and Downbeat, as one of the top 3 Albums of 2015. In 2014, Clark was presented the ASCAP Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composers Award, Honorable Mention and the Phoebe Jacobs Memorial Prize in 2015.

Clark has performed on some of the most prominent stages/events, including: Jazz at Lincoln Center, National Endowment for the Arts Gala, Smoke Jazz Club, 92Y, Smalls, Birdland and Rockwood Music Hall, having also toured Central America and Europe. She has also been featured and/or interviewed in numerous publications including: Downbeat Magazine, The New York City Jazz Record, ZealNYC, Tom Tom Magazine and a special live interview appearance on the KUVO Jazz Radio. She believes music changes lives and currently teaches for the New York Pops Education Program, where she proudly performs jazz master-classes for children in the Bronx.
