About The Cadillac Three

"golden pipes resound from the hollers with the haunting beauty and power of a young Shawn Colvin and Patty Loveless..."

2/3 Goat (pronounced: Two-Thirds Goat) ?is a champion of metrobilly music in New York City. Their album Stream of Conscience and their music video of the title track have gained them recognition & features from outlets such as The Huffington Post, AOL Music Homepage, and New York Music Daily. Earlier this year, they were chosen as one of the top 10 bands out of over 3,500 in competition to perform in The Outlaw Roadshow at SXSW 2013 hosted by Adam Duritz of The Counting Crows and Ryan Spaulding of Ryan's Smashing Life.

Fronted by lead singers Annalyse McCoy & Ryan Dunn, the band's melding of alt-country, bluesy bluegrass and classic rock echo the core members' diverse roots: Annalyse descended directly from the infamous McCoys of Eastern Kentucky, and Ryan deeply rooted in the beach culture of southern New Jersey.

McCoy, a seasoned performer, first hit the stage at age eight. After singing at festivals & renowned venues throughout Kentucky (Renfro Valley, Jimmy Dean True Value Competition, Mountain Arts Center,...), she attended Northern Kentucky University earning a BFA. During this time, she also recorded a solo album, Movin' On, and was invited to sing the female lead on "Darlin'," a track from Sunshine in a Shot Glass by 500 Miles to Memphis.

Dunn started singing early, performing with the Barnegat Bay Breeze singers on the boardwalks at age 15. While attending Elon University, Dunn was a member of the vocal jazz group Elan. He was also a cofounder of Twisted Measure, Elon's very first a Capella group, which from its conception won prestigious awards. He and McCoy met in New York City, and soon after, 2/3 Goat was born.

?After winning the MR King Productions Singer-Songwriter Competition, the band recorded their first EP, Up The Mountain, at Tainted Blue Studio (formerly the penthouse of Quad Studios) in Times Square with Patrick Shaw.

In 2011, Stream of Conscience was recorded in Nashville at Welcome to 1979 Studios with producer Chris Mara (Gin Blossoms, Rounder Records) on a restored MCI 2' 24 track tape then mixed in pro-tools, giving the album an "old meets new Nashville" feel. The album features a 1947 crooner's microphone in the track "Lay It on the Line," and "Band of Gold" features prominent Nashville musician Russ Pahl on pedal steel. The console used to record Stream of Conscience is museum-worthy: a fully restored 1978 MCI JH428 originally owned by Country Music Hall of Famer Porter Wagoner (aka "Mr. Grand Ole Opry").

2/3 Goat has toured the east coast and the southeast, frequently performing in Music City. They were seen at South By Southwest in 2013, and were most recently the winners of Week 3 on The Bud and Roach Show.

The Grand Central is a young four-piece country band influenced by the traditional hard-driving country. They share the polished contemporary sounds coming from the Music City, and have developed a strong repertoire and a serious sound. The band has an electrifying live performance, relying on classic country and top 40 hits (in addition to original material), and appeals to the fun loving, beer drinking country music fans here in NYC and the northeast. The Grand Central has been steadily converting honky-tonk skeptics.

Lizzie and James of Lizzie and The Makers are pleased to be performing a rare acoustic set, opening for Scars on 45 this Monday, June 22nd. The duo will play their original songs as well as some classic blues standards.

Lizzie Edwards

A staple of the NYC music scene, Lizzie Edwards seems to have played with everyone! From fronting the Avant-guard jazz ensemble, "Jumpin' Salty" (with Morgan Kraft, Wes and Madison Rast), to sharing the stage with James Carter and Shuggie Otis, she brings nothing but fierce talent.

With influences ranging from Paul Butterfield to Lynyrd Skynyrd, Lizzie has been a guest at many NYC all-star jams at the Bitter End, and has brought the house down as the lead singer of her side project "Lizzie and the Sinners" (with Charles Roth, Jahn Xavier, Chris Schultz, and Tom Shad) covering gospel greats like Mavis Staples, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, and Shirley Caesar.

Lizzie is a born musician. From age 4 she was trained as a classical pianist and is a faithful vocal student of the renowned Don Lawrence (P.J. Harvey, Lady GaGa, Mick Jagger).
Her Dad was a constant on the 60's rock scene, acting as sideman for Chuck Berry and touring with Martha and The Vandellas and The Dave Clark Five. Her grandmother a classical harpsichordist and her grandfather an opera singer, a love and ability for all music truly courses through her veins.

With Lizzie and the Makers, she has rocked up and down the East Coast. Belting out original, soulful blues/rock tunes evoking the Black Crowes, Bonnie Raitt and a hint of Led Zeppelin (for good measure), as well as an obscure jazz tune here and there.

James Winwood

As the newest member of the Makers, James is a native New Yorker. Steel, acoustic and electric guitarist extraordinaire, he has been playing seriously since his teens. He has his BS in Jazz guitar and works as a music teacher and session guitarist.

James now has joined the crew of L&TM and has been supplying the Makers with tasteful, exciting and precise treats with a hint of bad-ass hidden underneath. James brings it to the people, showing that style and kicking ass are two things the Makers are all about.
