The Blue Dahlia

The Blue Dahlia, is a 5-piece NYC-based world music group playing what is best described as French reggae, though we also mix in some ska, klezmer, dub, tango, and samba, and some of the tunes are sung in English. Instrumentation includes a button accordionist and trombonist from the TexMex border (this is George Saenz, accordionist and trombonist for Grammy-winning Mexican folk artist Lila Downs),  plus Chris Hansen from California on drums, Diego Cebollero from Argentina on guitar, Yoshiki Yamada from Japan on bass, and myself, Dahlia Dumont, from Brooklyn and France on vox and ukulele.
