Teletextile

Teletextile is the performance project of the multi-instrumentalist Pamela Martinez.
Her music moves from vocal layering and “electronic wizardry” (Metronome Magazine) to “dense, stormy guitar, piano and electronics." (Time Out New York). Described as a “Bjork-like singer” by the Boston Globe, Martinez has toured extensively in the last handful of years with Teletextile and also as a singer with electronic producer / songwriter Chad Valley throughout the US, Europe, UK and India. As a genre hopping musician, Martinez has performed violin at Carnegie Hall with the Carnatic Indian ensemble Spring Nectar, sang R&B tunes in San Francisco’s historic Fillmore Theater, and can also be found as a guest harpist and vocalist and many projects including Autre Ne Veut next record. Martinez is making plans to release her fourth studio album as Teletextile.
