A Teacher Makes House Calls to Students With Health Issues in Touching & Funny Solo Show

Writer-performer Susan Jeremy plays over a dozen characters in this fast-paced solo show about a teacher who makes house calls to students who suffer from a variety of serious health issues. Filled with funny and touching stories of urban survival, "Teacher in the House" centers around Jeremy's real-life experiences as a teacher in the NYC school system. From a young girl waiting for a new kidney to a paralyzed teen who's always smiling, Jeremy's characters are portrayed with tenderness, candor and humor in this one-woman show presented at the Burgdorff Center for the Performing Arts in Maplewood.
