"Tango Lovers": Steamy South American Music & Dance

"Tango Lovers" brings the passion and sensuality of South American dance to New York with this steamy production at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts. An award-winning cast of 20 dancers, singers and musicians directly from Argentina and Uruguay dazzle in this Broadway-style show that traces the history and evolution of this passionate art form. The show takes on all the sensual traditions of this storied dance, with stunning costumes and theatrical lighting effects, accompanied by an orchestral ensemble and solo vocalists. This talented troupe is led by artistic director and World Tango Dance Tournament champ Marcos Ayala, and recently won the Latin ACE Award for Best Show of the Year.
