Following a year and a half of sold out solo appearances at Rockwood 3, dynamic singer-composer Talia returns to Stage 2 to showcase new material from her upcoming indie pop project.

Hailed by The Deli as "zany and endearing," Talia's infectious humor is pervasive throughout her electric live act. Her new material, described by Pure Volume as "seamlessly weaving dreamy vocals through ethereal instrumentations," will finally be seen in its entirety on October 19th, with a full band on Stage 2. Talia's voice is "where bookish meets sultry," writes The Aquarian, "leading along conversational song structures that eschew the formal."

Talia created The Orchard Sessions, an online salon featuring local songwriters performing in her Chinatown living room, after the release of her debut album The Ripple Effect. 18 volumes in, The Orchard Sessions have featured diverse and renowned artists including Jesse Harris, Snarky Puppy, Kate Davis, Becca Stevens and countless others.

When the sessions caught the attention of Blue Note Recording artist José James in 2013, he invited her to write and tour for his 5th album, While You Were Sleeping, traveling to over 60 cities worldwide. Since returning to New York in 2015, she has continued to expand her horizons, both as a video director and creative writer. Billig plans to release an EP of original material in early 2016.
