Sweet Truth

The Love Experiment is a Boston based band that features 12 of the best young musicians from the New England Conservatory of Music and Berklee College of Music. The band combines neo-soul, jazz, hip-hop, and electronica to create an energetic sound that they have dubbed "Future Soul." New Orleans native and drummer Charles Burchell leads the band which also features two stellar vocalists, a horn section, three keyboardists, and a rhythm section. Though young (created January 2010), The Love Experiment has already gained a following amongst many students in the Boston area as well as New Orleans and New York. After a series of successful shows The Love Experiment released a two-song demo in March 2010. So far in 2012, The Love Experiment has opened up for Talib Kweli's band Idle Warship in New Orleans and finished an East Coast summer tour. In April 2012, the band released their self-titled debut album, and they are currently in the process of releasing their first music video. The Love Experiment also uses their skills to help enrich the community by performing at local high schools, and it is currently in the process of planning residencies with Boston schools for the fall of 2012.
