Square Feeet

About Square Feeet

In 1999, long time buddies–keyboardist Jimmy Kuhn and bass player Billy Mendelson–formed the classic rock cover band known as Square Feeet. With drummer Dorsey Parker from the Funk Revolution, and “young boy” David Katzman, the band continues to be the heart of New York rock and roll jam bands.

For the past 12 years, Square Feeet has become a fixture at gigs around the New York/Tri-State area bar and club scene, where they jam at venues such as The Cutting Room, Village Underground, The Canal Room, The Knitting Factory, The Red Lion (where every year there is “standing room only” on St. Patrick's Day, following the parade), as well as Dockers Waterside, Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center, Meadowlands Racetrack and Sands Casino Bethlehem. With the recent additions of singer/songwriter Pam Steebler, and recording artists Andre Vasconcelos and Apoena Frota, the Square Feeet All-Star Band has expanded its classic rock menu to include a little R&B, a little pop, and more rock and roll!
