Souls of Rebellion

Souls of Rebellion was formed by Lead Guitarist/vocalist: Dan Chrzan. In 2009, he quit his previous band and wanted to stay heavy and stuck to his guns by writing some ass kicking, heavy edged, melodic rock songs that ended up on the self titled debut EP in 2010.
Those songs were recorded from the summer of 2009, through the winter of 2010 at Acorn Digital(Farmingdale, N.J.) and Squirrel Ranch Studios(Hamilton, N.J.) with very talented studio musicians.
In early spring of 2010, "Don't trust Your Eyes" was the 1st single released and it received airplay on various internet radio stations. The debut self-titled 5 song EP followed in June of 2010.
On September 6th, 2011, the band released their self-titled debut album. The album consists of 7 tracks including the successful 2010 single, "Don't trust Your Eyes" as well as the single, "Don't say it, Just do It", released in the summer of 2011. On March 9, 2013, Dan Chrzan decided to put this project on indefinite hiatus.
A fter the encouragement of fans, friends, some family and of course his wife, Dan decided to resurrect S.O.R. In August of 2013, Dan met future bassist of S.O.R. Joe Chick at a Megadeth concert in Camden, NJ. They started jamming out the tunes from the 1st album until they got the right drummer.
After a few tweeks in the personnel department, Dan and Joe auditioned drummer Brock Soucie. Brock kicked ass and passed the audition.
The lineup is solidified as a 3 piece. The band is ready to rock out this summer and fall, as well as write and record some new songs in between. The future looks bright for Souls of Rebellion.
