About Soul Serenade: Storm Marrero, Aaron Marcellus, Cunio

For the past 4 years Cunio has toured the world as 1/4 of PBS "sensation" Under The Streetlamp, with whom he released 3 albums, starred in 2 televised PBS concert specials and headlined venues including The Greek Theater, Wolftrap and The Chataquah Music Institute. Deemed the "electrifying wailer" he drew attention for his "gloriously gritty" take on Etta James' "At Last" and his "startlingly soulful" turn on James Brown's "Its a Man's world".

Prior to Streetlamp, Cunio starred on Broadway and in National tours of Hairspray (Corny Collins) and Jersey Boys (Tommy DeVito) while also regularly playing NY institutions such as Don Hill's, the Knitting Factory and the Bitter End as lead singer of Reckless Place. He's performed with members of the Roots, the Dap-Kings, Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, tUnE-yArDs and with bold names including Serj Tankian, Debbie Harry, Adam Lambert and Rock & Roll hall of famer Darlene Love. Cunio currently has a residency at acclaimed Burlesque/Jazz club Duane Park in NYC and he writes & sings with blues rock band Death in the Afternoon.
