Soft Fangs

Soft Fangs is the nom de plume of one John Lutkevich. His former nom, The Devil And A Penny, had a couple EPs and an album's worth of distant, drowsy but graceful rain-folk tunes with songtitles like Make Myself Scarce and Sun Gets Cut. They seemed not unlike the earliest Shins stripped of anything resembling masked ambition and left with mostly half-trickled guitars, tossed-off drum shuffles and Lutkevich's off in the corner of the room vocals.
