Slightly Stoopid: Reggae Rockers on "Everything Is Awesome" Tour

San Diego reggae-rockers Slightly Stoopid are the legendary Long Beach band Sublime built for a new generation. Discovered by late Sublime frontman Bradley Nowell while they were still in high school, the band signed to Skunk Records and earned a huge cult following in the mid-'90s, playing alongside major acts like Dave Matthews Band, Damian Marley, the Roots, Snoop Dogg and more. With a sound grounded in reggae and laid back hip-hop, Slightly Stoopid adds in dashes of blues, metal, funk, brightly-flavored ska and hefty psychedelic rock to make a sound all their own. Their latest album, "Meanwhile...Back At the Lab", will be released this summer. Dirty Heads and The Expendables open this show at JBL Live at Pier 97 in NYC.
