"Sisters in Strayhorn" with Tammy McCann & Karen Oberlin

The Billy Strayhorn Foundation celebrates his 100th year on December 17th with two celebrated singers who have been performing the Strayorn catalogue for many years. Here, Tammy McCann and Karen Oberlin join forces with the Tedd Firth trio to bring to Birdland audiences the varied, exquisite songs this brilliant songwriter following what would have been his 100th birthday. As a special guest, joining them to speak about his life and work will be Billy Strayhorn biographer David Hajdu.
